Spring Break 2020

We got to take a short, much needed break in the Dallas/Fort Worth area this week before the Coronavirus really started to pick up steam on the social distancing.

Neither Allison or myself had spent any time visiting Fort Worth before, even though we had lived so close most of our lives. But after the quick trip, we will definitely be back.

Our first night we stayed at the Aloft Downtown and it was great! Very close to shopping, entertainment and food. Indoor Pool.

Downtown Fort Worth is really pretty, looks like they have done a lot of work. When it comes to spending time with the family, I think it gives Austin a run for its money.
Pool time!

The next day we gave the kids to the Grandparents. They took them to the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens.

We got to go have a dinner and drinks at Mi Cocina.

We then went to check in to our hotel, Le Meridien Galleria and I have to say this might be one of my favorite hotel stays ever. The price was awesome, the staff and service was great. The room was perfect for the family. Also, heated indoor pool!

It’s located next to the Galleria. Which the girls took full advantage of. I don’t know what it is about malls, but I love them. I am happy a lot of them are still around.

We then went to Odd Muss Brewing to meet with some family and I have to say their IPAs were amazing. I don’t usually do flights, but with theirs I had to. All were so good. They also had a “food truck,” inside by Nomad Tacos.

The next day we played some Pickleball with cousins and how am I just playing this? It is so much fun! Sorry no picks, too busy playing it. We had to order a set for the new driveway.
Nice
